Eyelid Surgery Before After

Question: What is your experience with having eyelid surgery?
I am having surgery on my upper eyelids in about a month. I wanted to know how long will the bruising last and if I will be presentable to go outside within a week.
Or should I try something else?
Answer: I had eyelid surgery 4 times.
Mine wasn't for cosmetic reasons - I was born with a droopy eyelid and it needed to be fixed.
I agree with the above comment - the surgeon is everything.
It took me 4 tries to get it right.
As for the recovery - a week is a bit short.
I didn't have any bruising the next day, but the second day it started. It lasted closer to two weeks. Lots of vitamin C can help speed that up.
