Question: Strabismus surgery after blepharoplasty?
I'm having blepharoplasty soon. One week after that, I'll also have strabismus surgery at a different hospital. Both doctors say there's no problem. But besides the side effects and possible failures, I'm afraid that my modified eyelid might be messed up during the strabismus surgery because the doctor has to lift the eyelid very forcefully to find the eye muscles. Would it be really ok?
Answer: strabismus and blepharophasty even though they relate the procedure is quite different involving different muscles. I am assuming you will have the strabismus correction first than the eye lid surgery, I don't think i would be a problem.
