Contour Face Lift

Question: the car you were looking at based on the contour/mysique platform would be a
new cougar slated for year i believe.as for the thunderbird ,it is
slated to return in the next year.the mustang will also be getting a face lift not a
redesign.as for the mustang going front wheel drive they already tried to pull
that one (probe) and all told them of their dissatisfaction of the very
thought.i think they know where the buying public stands on that one !!!
So can anyone in the group help me please?
Answer: Last I heard, the new design was going to be built on Ford's
large-car platform... Now this? You're really scaring me now... I work
in Bryn Mawr, PA, where you can't count the number of SUVs going by. The
Navigators and Expeditions must be on back order for months! It makes
sense that Ford would sacrifice the Mustang to their CAFE problem, with all
these behemoths running around. (Unless they can qualify their SUVs as
"trucks", in which case all bets would be off.) My '93 is looking more and
more like my last Mustang.
