Question: Laser resurfacing or chemical face peel?
Has anyone had either laser resurfacing or a chemical face peel, which is the best to go for? I have got scars on my face that are really getting me down.
Answer: I think laser works really well on scars and marks on your face. I had several brown marks removed from my face with laser very successfully. I think chemical face feels are dodgy. Bear in mind you will have to keep out of the sun and wear block afterwards that's why its better to do it in Winter.
Depending on how deep the scaring is, depends on how sucessful the treatment will be. I would suggest you start by talking with your Dr. As both chemical peel and laser are quite painful treatments, My freind just had a laser treatment and she looked horrific for a while. Make sure you know what you are getting into and what the short term after effects will be?
