Chemical Peel Stretch Marks

Question:

Thinking about doing a chemical peel for the deep stretch marks on my stomach left off from pregnancy.? Does anyone recommend me doing this? Has anyone done this and seen some improvement? So can anyone in the group help me please?

Answer:

Never heard of this. But if you can afford it, then go ahead...just don't be TOO disappointed if it doesn't work the way you want it to. The battle scars...I mean stretch marks...seem to be the only thing that never ever goes away. The world can blow up and stretch marks and roaches will still be around. Another way to treat your stretch marks is by laser surgery. This surgery takes place over a series of expensive sessions, but is the most successful way to get rid of your stretch marks. The laser removes the damaged layers of skin, and helps the new growth of collagen which fixes broken skin tissue. This in turn helps heal the stretch marks. Blue light surgery is yet another solution. In this surgery a blue light and a special gel are used to heal stretch marks. This surgery has not been proven to be as good as laser surgery, but can be quite a bit cheaper.
